Children’s literature, in its multidisciplinary nature, offers a wealth of research options that span from psychology, to education, to translation. CLAUDIA ALBORGHETTI is adjunct professor at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in the campuses of Piacenza and Brescia, where she teaches History of Reading and Children’s Literature. She earned her PhD in Linguistic Sciences at Università Cattolica in Milan in 2016, and continued her research career in the field of children’s literature with the Department of Education in the same University. Her research interests revolve around the educational potential of translation in children’s literature, its historical development with special reference to Italian writers in English translation.
